Season 1 music(orchestra not pop songs) is amazing

I know Shuki Levy recycled bits from his Spider-Man score but, man, I'm rewatching season 1 on Netflix and the music is just transporting me back in time to when I was a kid but its like nothing I've ever experienced before. I can't believe this was 13 years ago. I don't know whats more sad, the fact that I'm rewatching this show at 25, or the fact that its actually kind of fun. I remember the 8th digidestin arc with Myotismon like it was yesterday. I remember the anticipation building from week to week as things got more intense and interesting, waiting for the next weeks episode was unbearable. There are a couple musical cues reused throughout the first season that are fantastic, I wish I could identify them. One that really sticks with me is a theme that plays when the kids are usually discussing the villian and the villains possible plans or motives. It's kind of a mysterious theme and usually played whenever they would discuss Myotismon or mythology in general. There are a couple others that I remember. The episode in the 8th digidestin arc when Matt and TK are either taking a bus or subway home and they run into Pumpkinmon(I'm guessing that's his name. He looked like a Pumpkin) and this other digimon. Anyways the music that plays whenever Matt and TK talk about their parents or childhood(I haven't rewatched this episode yet I'm just recounting from memory so a few details are a little fuzzy) is also a cue that has engraved itself into my memory. It's hard to believe I was 12 when this show was airing. A kid born the year I watched this would now be 1 year older than I was 13 years ago. Man, where does the time go? As soon as you finish school it's as if time just starts passing you by until, finally, you die. Its depressing

For the record, soccer, I'm 56 and still love Digimon. That means I was in my early 40s when I first saw it. And seriously there's still a lot of life remaining after you graduate High School.

Excellent post! I can completely relate. I just started watching this show with my nieces, now that it's on Netflix. I haven't watched it since I was 13, I'm 26 now. It's really crazy revisiting it with my nieces. They absolutely adore it, and I do as well. No show has ever tugged my nostalgic chords as hard as this show has.

I liked the song that would play when they had a victory, this one here:

Are you talking about the song at 5:45 in this link? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwnOVbM7eAQ If so, I agree, its a very good song.
