I am SO SO SO EXCITED FOR THIS. I literally have just been freaking out all afternoon.
Personally I wanted a Digimon Tamers 02 more than anything. But I will take this. It's a return to my second favorite series and we are getting away from 4, 5, and 6 (which I disliked) so bring it on. BRING IT ON.
And maybe, just maybe, if this does well, it will give us a sequel to Tamers. Please, please be amazing and let that be next. I will literally dance around this room if we eventually get sequels to both.
I hear they pushed it back to July. I really hope this new one captures the spirit of the original.
shareI hope they don't ignore season 2 but I would love if Davis and Yolei are relegated to just 1 episode in the entire season. I hated how these 2 annoying loudmouths took over season 2 and the old characters were shafted. TK and Kari were also pushed to the background while these 2 idiots took over! It was also annoying how easy Davis, Yolei and Cody got it compared to the season 1 guys who had much harsher struggles.
I am hoping that Ken returns in a large role though because he was the only good thing about season 2. They also have a chance to finally complete the dark ocean storyline - I can't believe we never got to see the dark undersea master. They threatened that they'll be back after Kari again and now is a perfect opportunity to finish this.
Apparently it won't be a tv series but a six part theoretical series
