Why did they left Billie out? (Spoilers for the book)
This movie would have been so much better if she was in it.

who is Paul? I didn't like how they left Billie out of it, she had alot to do with the ending of the book and how that shaped their lives. the book was way better IMO.
shareAs a parent, I don't know if I would've been able to handle seeing "book-Billie" in the film. I saw the film first, and then read the book. I was completely crushed by the book. It was definitely better, I will agree with the other posters, but it would've been extremely difficult for me to watch. I do like how she was left out; I thought that for someone who was simply watching the film and had not read the book most likely wouldn't have missed her on the boat!
