I gave this dog about twenty minutes and pulled the plug. Not my cup of tea.

Yes, you missed quite alot. The plot progresses to human emotions, human nature, struggles within, and a deep emotional connection from one of the current characters to one of the past characters. Study of soul pychology.

Yeah the first twenty minutes were about the worst twenty minutes of the movie. It gets better as it progresses.

You missed Elizabeth Hurley lounging on the deck of the boat, topless, while sucking on an ice-cube and rubbing it down her arms, chest and legs. You missed a lot brother!! Other than that, no, not really. Fairly boring movie IMHO.
