Can someone shed a light on this?
I watched the movie back in 2001 on VCD, imagine the burned in subtitles.
At the end I couldn't find out what exactly happend.
From my memory:
Twins with snakes in their bodies (or was this in Tetsuo II?)
Who is the hobo from the village?
Who ended up inthe well?
Did he escape? (I thought not back then)
Who is the doctor at the end?
(I thought the original with a changed mind to help the poor)
Answers:
* From the twins, only one had the snake birth mark and was abandoned by his parent and taken care by the poor people.
* The hobo was not a key character, just one to use to hang in the Doctor's home surroundings
* At first the "evil" brother throw the doctor (Yukio) to the well, then Yukio escapes and strangled his brother.
* Yes, Yukio escapes using the knife that the "evil" brother throw at him.
* As you said, in the end is Yukio but with the change mind to help the poor. His brother was took care by them and his wife was one of them too.
