What do you think happens to Harriet?

So? What do you think? My wife thinks she went off and killed herself. I think she might have tried to go back to civilization to reach the organization she was working for as a teacher on the mountain. There's no way she could just go off by herself to the mountain to be a teacher. She would have had to get a solid education in the American style and not the Dutch school as the real woman did. So? What do YOU think Harriet did?
