Puzzling me
One thing puzzles me which was never explained in the movie, if Mark and Cheryl were just friends because of Erica why was Cheryl travelling on the plane as Mrs. Whitman and not using her own name?

That is a conclusion that many people would probably reach, however when Cassie and Erica are walking in the park Erica tells Cassie that her parents never fought, she said "My Mom said it was because they were just friends, you fight more when you're in love with someone" Surely she would know if they were more than friends.
