Goldilocks and the three bears?

Hello im no english major and i looked it up and i dont believe coleridge wrote the three bears, but to me the movie kinda made it seem that way, of course i kinda caught the middle of the movie and watched it all the way through, He even has illusions about bears trying to attack the kids, lol.

sorry for the stupid question but i had to ask.

No, Coleridge commends the author, Robert Southey (sp?), for having written an amazing story.

Poet Robert Southey wrote "The Three Bears". Sara Coleridge is just reading it to the children (her's and Southey's) when STC hallucinates about a real bear attacking the classroom. STC was writing "Kubla Khan" at the time and had already had success with "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner", but commented that Southey's bear story would have a much more lasting success and be read long after his (STC'S) words were forgotten.

Not sure how historically accurate that is, but that the this movie's version.
