filmed with a camcorder?

I watch martial arts movie on a weekly basic with beers and in intention of a good time. Most of them have 3.5 rating or so here on imdb and i still ejoy most... So when i saw this one with the huge rating for a martial art movie, i was like "nice" , got myself a copy. But i felt after the 2 trailer that looked like *beep* this movie would not be that good. I watched maybe 5 min and i stoped it... Was it film with a camcorder? I mean, it look like something i would make with my friends... I will probably give it a second shot eventually, but omg i wasn't expecting that...
