Symbolism of the scene right after the condom fight...


Watching this the other night I was kind of confused about what happened right after the condom fight, they show shots of the two couples and the camp director all laying on the ground as if they were dead, condoms broken open all over the place, the ones on their clothes and body kinda made me think of bullet holes,and right before they were interrupted both couples make reference to death.

Adam with his hands around Pixels throat while she basically taunts him and tells him to squeeze harder and Wendy about to drink the coffee she had drugged for Wichita while he suspiciously asks her whats in the cup. It makes one wonder what might have happened if the condom fight hadn't happened at just that moment...

I thought it was a really cool scene and that showing them laying there like they might be dead looked really awesome but Im still at a loss as to what it might mean. Maybe I am just really weird for thinking about it that way but it just seemed way to intentional to not have a meaning behind it.
Does anybody have any insights?
