i wanted to see more of a feminine side of her. i was waiting for the moment where she gets all dressed up and pretty and shows adrian and everyone how beautiful she could be. but i never saw this bc it never happened! did anyone else want to see her become a little bit more girlier?
personally i was glad they avoided that cheesy makeover ugly duckling to swan cliche. i thought the way she kissed him, especially in the end was very feminine (in a more womanly way as opposed to giggly high school girl) ..she looked beautiful in that ending scene. michelle rodriguez was fantastic in this film..
I agree with Scarlet Poppie. I thought the scenes where she kissed the boy were very feminine and beautiful. I also thought that while she acted tough through most of the movie, there were moments like the kissing scenes where she opened herself up and exposed herself... which is a very feminine quality.
If she did get dressed up, it would imply that there was something wrong with her previous state, which there wasn't. She was being herself all the way through. That's what the movie is all about.
I liked her tomboy image. and the movie had a really good message because this HOT guy liked the tomboy even when he had the chance to get with any pretty girl he wanted. Shows that love stems from common interest..not just the superficial
