Michelle Rodriguez's Training and Diet for this film?


Would anyone know what sort of training and diet MR had to undertake for this role, and how many months it took?

My goal is to get as fit as her, so input would really be great.

I would like to know as well. I read somewhere (maybe here? lol) she trained for two months before shooting the film. So I have to assume she was in at least decent shape before she ever knew she'd be playing a boxer in a movie.

It seems like in a lot of her interviews, Girlfight gets mentioned because of how good a movie it is and how it was her breakout role and all that. I wonder if she gets sick of people talking about it or asking her about it. Sort of like how bands get sick of playing their old chart hits (okay maybe it's nothing like that idk).

But it's haaarrrrd.

Her IMDb bio mentions "five arduous months of training in Brooklyn's Gleason's Gym" and nothing else.
