I actually saw Ginger Snaps Back first (the third movie), never having heard of these movies. Since it was a prequel, I guess it doesn't matter that much that I saw it first.

Regarded as one of the best in the horror genre.

It's been a favourite of mine ever since I first saw it, and I've been re-watching it every year or so. Not only is it a great werewolf movie, but it's a great coming-of-age movie.
