Ginger Snaps fan edit

I think someone on another GS forum once said it would be great if they ever did a director's cut edition of Ginger Snaps, where they restored all these deleted scenes.

I would say this is probably unlikely, so then next best thing would be a fan edit. I thought of giving it a go myself, but I imagine there's a lot of work, tools and so on involved, and I don't really have the time or the motivation to do it.

I haven't really been able to find anything like this online, the nearest being small Ginger Snaps music videos on YouTube, or perhaps dubbed foreign language versions of the film, which I'm sure were done by amateurs, because some scenes still have the original English dialogue intact.

I wouldn't really want to attempt to make a fan edit unless I could get everything off of the Blu Ray in 1080p. Right now I only have the DVD quality stuff. And it's kind of annoying that in the deleted scenes they have that writing on screen. I wish they'd left all of that out. It would make a fan edit seem a lot more seemless.

Has anyone else ever given this fan edit thing a try, on Ginger Snaps or any other film?
