The movie Brigitte's watching and taking notes on...

Does anyone know what the werewolf movie she's watching is, or was it shot for the movie itself? It looks vaguely Hammer-esque. I love the movie, but the final look of the wolf is pretty dull. Yet the werewolf in the flick she's taking notes on looks ten times better.

It's only my opinion. Climb down.

I asked the same question on this board but got the answer of "Its probably some obscure Canadian werewolf TV movie or just made for the film". The only movie on imdb that this movie is listed to feature in this film is "The Bastard" (1968) which isn't the case because its a crime drama. So the film you're looking for is probably not even registered on imdb and when thats the case...the film's long gone.

I think it must have been made just for this movie. It's so cheesy and over the top. I did notice that the actor in it had an English accent, so was wondering if it was a hammer too.

It definitely wasn't Hammer, but I was of the opinion that it was made for the movie and was intentionally mimicking the Hammer style.

It was made by Ginger Snaps production, filmed and edited on set. So yes, filmed for the movie.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about the GS werewolf. They didn't want to go with CGI and I understand they wanted to distance themselves from the classic werewolf look, which is more or less what you saw in that small little film on the TV. The GS wolf kind of looks like it was human at one time.

If anything, even though they were CGI, the wolves in Snaps Back look more convincing, really. That was about the one good thing in the film.
