Something annoying

Okay, so, I just bought a PSX, yeah yeah I'm late whatever, and so I bought Final Fantasy Anthologies for it...figuring I could put to rest my Super Nintendo. But heck with that. This game takes FOREVER to load, and some of the small minor differences in sound and stuff really irritate me. And then like when you get attacked by a monster, it takes practically a minute for the screen to come up. What a waste. Anyone else disappointed with anything?

LOVE THE GAME, though, but I was hoping it wouldn't be so dang slow. :S

Yeah, it was never a minute to load anything, but there was that delay of almost 5-10 seconds to get to the menu from the map. Very annoying when you accidentally close out of it. If it's taking almost a minute, then something's wrong with you system or your disc (might I recommend a PS2, since by this point any PSX has to be very old?).

Well, unfortunately, I was never really "into" PS's at all, until I got bored with all my other games and wanted something new besides something that costs $300....and I totally would have bought a PS2 HAD I known I could play PS1 games on it. I didn't find that out until AFTER I bought a PSX.

ARGH!! I'm very upset about that!!!! Mainly cause if I want to play FFX and the rest of the PS2 ones, I'll eventually have to buy a PS2 anyway...so basically I wasted money.

The minute thing...I was exaggerating, but it seems longer than 5 seconds when I get attacked and stuff and go into the menu to heal or equip new items....probably just me being impatient, though, but it's definitely a little ridiculous. :D

And for the record I just finished playing Final Fantasy Origins, which was a FANTASTIC upgrade. So I might have had higher expectations since that game was so much more improved than it's original forms.
