This topic may have been addressed already, but

Did Locke and Celes ever actually get together?

I sort of thought that it would be a repeat of what I like to call, 'The Terra Effect': It appears that there's some connection between them, and then it just disappears.

Were they in love in Thamasa, when Relm said something along the lines of 'It sure it hot in here grandpa'?

Or is it up for us to decide? Because personally I thought that Celes and Edgar were going to end up with each other.

I was unbelievably disappointed when Locke focused on Celes instead of Terra, because I actually thought that they were falling in love!

The only obvious romantic love I saw in the game was:

Cyan + Dead Wife
Lola + Soldier
Locke +Rachael
Duane + Katarin
Random Imperial Soldier in Bed + Random Imperial Soldier's Girlfriend in Bed
Kefka + Destruction
Edgar + Everyone Else

Locke and Celes were /almost/ obvious, but there was something lacking, like evidence. Perhaps they could've spiced it up a bit and had Locke say "I love you."

It's hinted that Locke and Celes get together in the ending. Edgar tries to flirt with Celes, but she walks away and stands next to Locke instead. I think he blushes or some crap. It's also very obvious throughout the game that they care about each other. There were also entire scenes about them (the whole bandana on the bird scene, the night before they leave for Thamasa, the scene after the Phoenix Cave).

It's better that they never really showed them flat out say how they feel. Leaves more to the imagination. Love stories in these games tend to be lame, at least to me. I hated FF8 and FF10's love story was forced as hell

Heh, yeah, but they never went right out and said it, and it left me on the edge of my seat.

Also, I read on some article (Wikipedia? I don't remember) that it said it was never for certain. I took all of the signs into consideration, but I still felt a teeny bit doubtful......

But thanks.
