make into a tv show rather than film(s)

Years back I came up with a brilliantly casted film for this game, but I realize that maybe it would be better if this was turned into a tv show. There's so much that happens in this game that if it were made into 1 or 2 films, it would cut out a whole lot. I think it would be much more suitable to make it into a tv show. I don't know what it would be called, cuz if it were simply titled "Final Fantasy III/VI", people who aren't fans of the games would wonder where the others are. I imagine it would be 5 or 6 seasons long. Seasons 1-4 would tell the story in the World of Balance, and then 5 or 5-6 would tell the story in the World of Ruin. Season 6 is questionable, as you'd have to wonder if the writers would decide to tackle all of the origins and side quests that are in the WoR. Anyway, yeah if this were brought to the screen, it would be much better suited for being a tv show. Any thoughts?

I think it would be quite interesting as a TV show, or one of the online streaming methods. A season would give us proper introductions to each of the characters and allow for the story to carry out without rushing it into a 2.5/3 hour movie.

The only problem is, as popular as the game was, how many people of that audience would actually watch?

Seems like Final Fantasy V might have more of an audience, since it has to do with dragons... and dragons are all the rage these days in fantasy shows.
