The last scene when Murai is chasing the bus would you call that a happy
or a sad ending?
Happy if unbelievable. It is "bery dubious" as jaywalking is not easy done in Japan, either jogging after a bus. It speaks volume too.
I guess the girl is not a slouch. She can read that as a love letter.
