Does anyone know who performed the opening credits theme music for this television series as they are showing it on Directv's 101 network? I've looked around and many sights say its Madonna but this song does not sound like Madonna at all. It has a slow trance/quiet storm feel to it.

I watched another eps again the other night. It didn't sound like Madonna Humming. It started off with the lyrics, "Lay~ Me~ Down~......" It mentions a desert too. I didn't hear any humming. Ah well I'll keep trying.

The _original_ series from 2000 - all 8 episodes aired in several European countries - had the Madonna song. But not only the opening music changed. They replaced alot from the original score.

I have been searching high and low for the name of the song and the artist responsible for the music played for the opening and closing credits for "Wonderland" as shown on the 101 channel. When the show was originally aired in 2000, the theme was by Madonna. Since that time, the music has been changed, but no info can be found ANYWHERE. I am hoping that someone at DirecTV can at least supply me (and others) with this little bit of information.

shareYeah, the original had Madonna singing the title tune. I think it was a piece written by her and William Orbit, a trance/techno artist/producer who produced her Ray of Light album that came out around that time. I still have the first two episodes on tape from when it was originally aired.
shareI too am searching for the artist and title of this song that is on DirecTV's version of the Wonderland show. Actually I am trying to find any information I can regarding this show. I never knew about it back in 2000 when it was on ABC. I only found out about on DirecTV last year in 2009. I'm not even sure that it is still running. When I first heard this song I knew I had to have it but like you no one seems to know who it is who sings it. It's absolutely amazing. Luckily I was able to tape the end credits one night. If you have an Iphone (or any smart phone) you can download an app - mine is called Shazam. You tag a sample of the song and it analyzes it and tells you the artist, title, etc. 99% of the time, it is accurate. I would try that as well.
