too young!

Well, perhaps they are too young to get pregnant (young not in biological, but in social meaning) and perhabs it is discussable, that 14year old actors play this role.

In the U.S. perhabs this behaviour would be child abusement, in Germany Sex between two 14year old teenagers is legal. And the problem is not the age of sexual concent, but that these teenies are too bad informed about what you must do to prevent pregnancy.

Sexuality is a natural think, and it's a mistake, to think, that teenager didn't interest in it, only because the parents didn't talk about it. The interest in sex is a natural think, which appears in the puberty, and the only thing to avoid pregnancy is:

- inform your children about sex as early as he/she unterstand it. For examble I learned the first thinks in primary school (first my mother told me some thinks, in the third grade we had first thinks about it in school.) The main thinks, like "how do the body works" and "what is sex" is a topic in the fifth or sixth grade, depending on the school and the region. But: Most of the teenies than already knows much about it, we have for examble a magazine called "Bravo", a teenager magazine, mostly readed by 11-14year old teenagers, were education in sex thinks is a great part.
- inform your children about ways, they can avoid pregnancy. And let me say so: forbitting sex and wanting them to be virgins until marriage is the wrong way, because forbitten thinks are getting more interesting for teenagers, and also in America most of the children are no virgins anymore, when they become 18 years old ;) So it's important, that boys know, that they had to use condoms and that "coitus interruptus" is not good, and girls should know, that taking the pill is not anti-christianic.
- have a trustful relation to your children. Don't be paranoid, don't be suspicious, and much more important: be a good friend to your children, who don't argue bad with them, when they are interested in such things. Because when your children would be afraid to talk with you about this topics, they will do such things without you. And unfornatially get pregnant. And perhabs didn't even say this to you, because they're too afraid.
- and: let your children know: there's nothing wrong by having sex. but sex is a very intimate thing between two persons who love each other, and that *beep* around" is not a fun.

We had also such problems here in Germany, and most girls get pregnant, because:
- they weren't really prepared, they know how to have sex, but not how to avoid pregnancy, or they didn't care
- when they get pregnant, they didn't say it to their parents, so that the pregnancy is recognized to late and a abortion is not available anymore.

back to the actors: what did they do so badly? they put off their clothes before each other (we didn't see the naked bodies). and they have a little scene, where it looks like they having sex.
I think: Mischa Barton will have seen a naked male body before. perhabs in school or somewhere else (i don't talk about sex or so, only about seeing a boys body). This is not bad for teenagers, because is a normal think.
And the "sex scene". well... they only act like. They don't doing it. Acting is not reality, and if you wanted to forbit those scenes, you need to forbit much movies of all decades, for examble "The Blue Lagune" or your talk shows ;)
