It is a commercial for bikes!!

No seriously, what was up with that? Let's make a bike versus snake movie?

There is one extremely lame scene in the end where they try to blow up the snake and you have that little cabin connected to the underground system. He actually uses his bike to travel from the cabin to the car!!!

Also, when they are on the bridge, they take the time to nicely put their helmets on (healthy, but weird)

Anyone else thought this was kinda strange??

Yeah, it was. It's either fall off the bike and get your skull crushed or be eaten by a snake...

Oh yeah, you are so right. The helmet thing was weird.

There was one scene where the whole building was about to blow up. Remember when Robert England ran in, and locked the door behind him, and the dude was banging on the door. So the chickette pulled him away, than ran back to the car.

NOW the dude actually picked up his bike, AND his helmet, and ran with them a few feet, to get them away from the building, and then they hid behind the DOORS of the police car.

I'd leave the helmet behind, I think, even if I loved my bike ... and I think I'd hide behind the car body, not just behind the car door.

(I can only guess that the director decided to make sure they always wore helmets when riding the bikes, to give a good impression. Or maybe he was afraid someone might fall off a bike, hurt their head, then sue them because they had encouraged them to ride without a helmet.)
