shareLol... I read somewhere that Brendan Fraser had actually pushed for the O'Connells to be living in an apartment in London as that would be more true to form. But its tricky to shoot the break-in scene in cramped spaces, ergo the bat mansion.

well, they did escape from Hamunaptra with a bag full of treasure, so the mansion does make sense.
