Roman city?

If memory serves, Londinium was an anchient roman settlement in britan. Does this have anything to do with the story?

Londinium was the Roman name for London. I'm not sure why the film uses the Roman form as I haven't seen it but it's on ITV tonight so I'll watch it and let you know.

The book that is written by one of the characters is called Londinium.

The theme of Rome, a Roman city, and even the present city of Rome, is present throughout the film.
