How the hell is this better than Leprechaun 4?

I just rented Leprechaun 4: In Space and I found it to be much, much better than this load of crap. How does that movie have a lower rating? The acting was soooo much better in that, the jokes and humor was somewhat funny at times. This movie made me want to take a shower after watching it...I felt violated. This movie deserves to be in the lower 250 list.

Erm, difference of opinion and freedom of speech?

Personally I found Lep in Space is be, not only really boring, but pretty abysmal. Lep in the Hood is pretty lame too but I think the acting and situations are so terrible that it automatically becomes better.

After loving the first 3 I came to Lep in Space with a bit or trepidation becuase people seem to diss that one a lot. However I was pleasantly surprised and think it really delivers (still not up to the high standard of 3 tough).

However, Lep in the Hood was a huge disappointment. The movie was a total mess. Interesting idea, but badly executed. Needed a way better script!

this is the funniest one of all of them, but I haven't seen in space yet so you may be right but after Jason X i'm skeptical of going into space.

I also don't get it when people complain Lep 4 is too silly. Have they seen any of the other movies?!

I kind of enjoyed this one. Definitely my least favorite, though.

liked this one in the beginning; Ice-T and his 70's fashion were hilarious. And Warwick was great as always (Warwick plus that awesome Leprechaun makeup makes for one great monster!). But it lost a lot of steam quickly.

I agree, though - surprised that Leprechaun in Space is rated so badly - it was so over the top silly, but that's what makes it awesome!

"In the Hood" was okay...but not nearly as good as "Space".

In my opinion, Leprechaun in Space blows this one away. 4 has better acting, a better script, better (and more) kills, practical fx, and horror, better characters, and a much better director in Trenchard-Smith. The cheap CGI definitely hurts it, but otherwise it's a masterpiece by comparisson.

Leprechaun in the Hood is a badly directed, cheap looking mess from start to finish. The biggest problem is the non-existent plot logic, but a very close second is the fact that Warwick has to share villain duties with Ice-T. The Leprechaun is given very little to do, in comparisson to the other films in the franchise, which really hurt the movie for me. Factor in the bad, BAD rap music, plus the racist jokes and generally stereotypical nature of every character and scenario (from the ghetto rap leads to the tranny to the Aisan shop owner to the blind woman to the greedy preacher... Seriously, it was exhausting), and Leprechaun 5 is definitely the worst of the first 5, for me anyway.

I kinda hated it.

A lot of strange things happen in this world. Things you don't know about in Grand Rapids.

The only good bit in Leprechaun In Space, was when he came flying out of that guy's dick.

I think 4 is way better than the two "Hood" films, which were both made just because that's what was considered cool at the time. Hell, Ice -T's character is given way more to do than the Leprechaun himself in this movie.
