Yeah I know the leprechaun films are trashy but in a good way. I think that this is the best in the series and by far the funniest.

shareIt's not a satire. It's a bad attempt to squeeze humor out of white perceptions of hood films. It's not at all clever or amusing. The first few Leprechaun films were alright little B-movies. This one just plays up tired and worn-out racial humor. I guess it appeals to the same people who laugh at the "white kid pretending to be black" sterotype character that they throw into all these comedies. Having just come across an early draft of the script on a screenplay website, I am amazed that something so awful would ever get greenlit.
