Lauren

I've been through this whole board, and I'm honestly surprised that no one is talking about Lauren. Is that because like me, no one likes what she was starting to turn into as she started "growing up?"

I really started to dislike Lauren as she got older. I know kids act out as they become teenagers. Not all kids, but most. And Amy may not have always handled things "properly," but I think she did the best she could, and being a single parent certainly isn't easy. Although, Amy did have a decent support network with her mom and Sean. You really can't include Peter because he had too many of his own issues to deal with with his family.

Anyway, the whole vegetarian thing got on my nerves. Lauren flew off the handle with the shrimp in the ravioli (OK, forget the gross factor of that, lol, there was no reason to fly off the handle on that). Amy brought up a good point that many vegetarians (not vegans) eat seafood. All Lauren had to do was explain that she is a vegan, not just a vegetarian, and she's cutting out ALL forms of animal product, not just red meat, pork, and fowl. But instead of trying to act the adult that she's pretending to be, she acts like a spoiled three year-old brat.

She did this a lot.

I just came to really dislike Lauren.
