Shot with a Sony PD100A?
Is that the case? Was a 35mm DOF adapter used? Was it converted to film in order to be shown at Cannes?
I don't see how Cannes can screen a DV movie.
Never having seen the movie, I can't answer the 35mm DOF adapter question; but as far as the film transfer question, yes it would have been blown-up to film for a Cannes screening. Due to it being a film made under Dogme 95, it is a requirement for the movies to be transfered to 35MM Academy film for screening purposes.
