Underrated Movie - Snubbed Best Supporting Actor Nomination

This movie is really a great film , with some fabulous performances. Really good political thriller/drama.
I believe The Contender was overlooked by many due to lack of hype and most probably subject which probably was interpreted as being boring.

How wrong people were to let this movie pass them by.

Gary Oldman is so brilliant in this supporting role.
Read an interview with Oldman , and even he felt that his performance was overlooked by the academy.

Jeff Bridges who studied President Clinton's mannerisms and casual demeanor, does a wonderful job being the President.
