TRON 2.0 history

I dont know the status of a TRON 2.0 movie,
but here's a little information for those who dont know.

The guy who first created TRON in 1980 (give or take) still works for Disney.
He said in a interview sometime before TRON the 20th anniversary edition came out, that he had always wanted to see what TRON might look like in today's world. At the time of the release of the 20th ani edition, he said that he was looking into a remake and a sequel.

As of the time the game was released, it was announced that both the game and movie would follow the same story line.

I would love to see a modern remake of TRON if not a sequel.
