Doesn't that kind of invalidate what was established in Tron about Flynn and Users being gods and being unkillable in the digital world? He survived 3 big events (Solar Sailer Light Conduit Trick, Carrier De-Rezz, blocking the MCP's output stream) that would have de-rezzed any program, but Jet dies if he falls 6 feet.

But Flynn did those things after he drank from the energy pool, and let's not forget....
Flynn causing the abandoned reconiser to form,
Flynn sucking the red aura from one of Sark's men, causing the guy to de-rez,
Flynn helping to not allow Yori to self-de-rez by giving her power.
All after the drinking of energy.
Anyways, if you're wanting Jet to not take damage, why not use a godmode cheat code?

The energy pool just awakened in him power he already had as a God. Remember that Ram also drank from that same pool and he didn't survive the tank blast as Flynn did. Tron also drank from the same pool but was speechless about Flynn's abilities. Perhaps the continuity can be reconciled by saying that because Jet and the Datawraiths didn't help create the mainframe that they aren't Gods inside of it.
