Race lost even before starting

When there already was produced a genial movie like Judgement at Nuremberg, 1961, why in the world would anyone try to do a similar production? Even the big names couldn't stop Nuremberg, 2000, to become ridiculous.

You don`t seem to be well informed.
"Judgement at Nuremberg" was a film about a fictional trial that followed the major war trial and concentrated on Third Reich`s lawyers and judges.
While there were indeed trials following the major war criminal trial, "Judgement at Nuremberg" was a film with fictional characters.
"Nuremberg" on the other hand was a film about the actual main trial that took place in Nuremberg between 11.20.45 and 10.1.46 in front of the International Military Tribunal (IMT).
The characters in that film (unlike "Judgement at Nuremberg") weren`t fictional but the real ones.
And despite some historical mistakes is "Nuremberg" a quite accurate account of what happened.

I thought it was a rather good TV film.
