MTV are morons
They cancelled Downtown AND Top Buzzer, two of my favorite shows. These days all they show is crap like My Super Sweet 16, Laguna Beach or some other crap about spoiled brats. It's becoming crapper and crapper all the time.

shareWhy was everything so cool in the 90s? More importantly, what happened to the animation industry? I saw great things happening during that decade and now America's top three providers of televised animation (Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel) have been starting to turn their cheek to animation more and more. Some more than others **damn Disney** but they all got something, although CN's "Out of Jimmy's Head" does feature animated characters. So I suppose it's not much of a turn for Cartoon Network. MTV's animation department pretty much turned to crap. I saw what new stuff they had and I was really disappointed. Now I know MTV will NEVER be able to capture stuff like Beavis and Butt-head, Aeon Flux, The Maxx, Celebrity Deathmatch, and The Head. R.I.P. 90s.

But the '90s had (and carried over from the '80s) shows with real character and personality. Nowadays its just nerdy awkward humor and throwaway pop culture skit gags.
Stuff like this reminds me of "Movie Poop Shoot.com" from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
Yup I really miss character development in my north america animated shows.
Even if MTV end up canceling pretty much all of their animated shows exept maybe daria wich actually had a end. At least we got one season of shows like Downtown, Undergrads, clone high , etc it still better than nothing Imho
