Great Game!!

I don't know how many people who will wander upon this game or this message, but this a great game. A classic rpg with everything, Humor, Action, and a really good story line. nintendo is releasing Mother and Mother 2 in japan on GBA. Hopefull it will catch on and we can see a Mother 3 or Earthbound 2 or what ever you want to call it on The GameCube Nintendo.

Earthbound was one of the games I grew up with, and I still love it to this day. Nintendo probably would have endorsed sequels more if the game had had more financial success in America. By the way, Batmanrox, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but.....Earthbound 64, the planned sequel for the N64, was ultimately cancelled. Oh well. At least we get to see Ness in Super Smash Bros. and SSB: Melee. If they ever did decide to make it again for the Gamecube, that would be aweseome, huh?

What I have shown you is reality. What you remember....that is the illusion.

I heard that the Nintendo Revolution will allow you to download Nintendo's back catalog. I really hope they let EarthBound come back this way... this is one of my favorite video games, let alone RPG's of all time.

Earthbound was the first RPG I ever played, and to this day it's still one of my favorites. It may not have the best characters or story, but it's so unique thatr's it's wonderful.

Man this sure brings back some memories, eh?

Best game ever

Yep, Mother 3 comes out on GBA in Japan in a few months. At least that's what I've heard. I grew up with Earthbound, and what a joy it was. I'm glad they're making the sequel on a platform graphically comparable to SNES. A 3D version just wouldn't be the same, (Gamecube/N64). I've been to, at some point in my life, develope a similar RPG. Meaning in a modern setting, urban adventure. Yeah, some day, when I have a few million bucks to play with. :P
