Pokey = Cartman?

Just been playing this game for awhile now, and while I am loving it for being unique and original (It's more fun now than it ever was, and I defy anyone to try to sway me from thinking otherwise), a thought crosses my mind while I play it; Does anyone think Pokey is similar to Cartman in many way?

For those who don't know about these characters, Pokey is the rotten little kid that Ness is next door neighbors with in the game. He later becomes probably one of the most annoying villains in gaming history next to Neo Cortex in Crash Bandicoot.

Cartman is one of the four main characters on the Comedy Central show "South Park". In the beginning, he was perhaps the butt of most of the major jokes on the show, until recently, he now becomes the major fan base's favorite character (Not my favorite character).

When you think about it, the two do have similar attributes that make them one in the same: They both have large bodies, both have an awkward desire to become powerful, and both are mostly negative characters.
