Questions, Please help

I just saw this movie for the first time the other day. I loved it!!! But I have two questions. First I've seen pictures on the internet with Vincent D'Onofrio in the scene where he's in front of the class room. He's making a face with his fingers around his eyes. I didn't see that part in the movie. Was it cut? And at the end when Ruby sees the picture for the first time and she flips it over why does it say happy accidents. I know Sam said their meeting was happy accident but why does the picture have it on the back?

I guess that bit was cut, yeah.

I think it's just supposed to be a coincidence that the photo has that written on the back. He'd only seen the photo in an article so would have no way of knowing. Summed up the theme (and title) of the movie.

No, that wasn't cut. It was the scene when he met her in front of her apartment and after he walked with her down the street, they ended up in front of the class she was teaching, ESL, and he introduced himself to the class in all of their languages. It was a very cute scene.

As for the photo, her friend took it with her camera and she explained that the flash misfired, but that it took a good picture anyway. The friend was obviously the one who marked it as "a happy accident" on the back.

I remember the scene with him in front of the classroom but I don't remember the part with him making the face with his fingers around his eyes. I've seen a picture of it on the internet but didn't see him do it in the movie.

I didn't mean the entire scene was cut, just the bit where he makes that face.

The image of VD'O with his fingers over his eyes, etc. is on the DVD cover. I assume it was cut from the final version of the movie.

I've got a good mind to ring your doorbell and run!

I thought it was a caption written on the photo because it was in (or meant to be) in the "Ex-File".

If you recall, Ruby and her friends kept a shoebox with photos of ex-boyfriends. On the back were captions or names for them, like "terrible actor", "master manipulator", etc (I can't remember any
real examples from the movie).

I think the reason the picture said the words "Happy Accident" on the back was because it was very difficult to aim the time machine, but he had information that many people in New York wear black. He aimed for a place where a lot of people were wearing black, but he knew that hitting New York on that basis would be, to a large part, a happy accident.

Who is Keyser Soze?

Her friend said "that's the one where the zoom screwed up. You look really cute, though!"

So, the photo itself was a "happy accident."
