A Theory To Who Mrs. Goofy Is!

Well I read in Disney HooZoo (a good site that has profiles of every one of Mickey's friends) that there's a character that is very likely to be Max's mom to here more about it go here

Infact her name (Penelope long for Penny) has been associated with Goofy's love interest in the past as well as her red hair. She was in 4 Goofy cartoons. She was brought back in 1990 in the little girl book series (books called Minnie 'n Me as Minnie's friend. In those stories Minnie, Daisy, Penny, Clarabelle along with four new characters are pre-teens.

It's hard to say that Penny either died or divorced since she is a Disney character as well as Minnie's close friend (I think that Mickey type character are able to live through a lot and aren't contravercial enough to divorce). I guess she could be divorced civilly since Goofy isn't the type to fight with a girl and they are Disney characters. And better yet there could be lingering romantic tension between the two.
