What the hell is up with the defected DVD?

The movie just stops up to where Sasasuki is riding on the train. It's a Region 1 DVD just in case anyone is curious.

OBVIOUSLY

I've had the same issue with 2 different copies. I don't know, yet, if there's a good one out there.

I've had to pay almost 40 dollars for my copy, I mean wtf? I was so hesitating when I was about to buy another copy. But damn, already heard someone else had the same probably when they bought it too.

Glad I'm not the only one. Chapter 10 is messed up. Had it on 2 different copies.

I have the same exact problem. Just purchased this movie from a blockbuster liquidation center. NO RETURN POLICY!! I was fully enjoying this movie and it just quit working. Tried in PS3, X360, Xbox, and PC. NOTHING. Who do I contact to get a working copy? It's no longer listed on the distributors website.

WoW I hope I dont get in trouble for what Im about to post but after reading the postings on this thread, I really felt bad for yall. Imagine watching a real good movie & all of a sudden it cuts off...any movie buff would feel your pain.

Solution 1.)The runtime on this movie says 100 min so I checked couple of sites where I download & watch films before buying them to make sure they're good, & I found it w/ the same runtime ..I also checked a few sites I'm a member at, sites for watching Korean & Asian dramas & some movies (paid membership to watch w/o commercials & FREE to watch w/ ads)but this movie wasnt available. In other words, I found the movie only available for 'download' but only 2 of the sites I trust, one you'll have to sign up for membership. The reviews from ppl who already downloaded were good & no complaints on runtime, so my aunt is getting it as I speak. To find it type 'moonlight whispers 1999 download'(GooGLe onLy b/c all search engines come up w/ different results). The first 2 sites(or links) that come up r trustworthy & all good! Oh great! I just found the Directors Cut at AsianDVDClub & reviews say it's complete! http://asiandvdclub.org/details.php?id=6088&hit=1

Solution 2.) Go here to this link & watch it (really clear & w/ English subtitles) on YouTube! Or begin watching it where your DVD cut off! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlFyzBsya3Q&feature=mfu_in_order&am p;list=UL
