Not played..

Did anyone else notice that the Disney Channel did not play any of the normal Halloween movies this year? They left out all of the classics, and my personal favorites, such as the Little Vampire, Don't Look Under the Bed, Phantom of the Megaplex. I mean, the only movie I saw that they played was Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire, which was okay. I felt that the repetition of the Halloweentown movies was a bit much, in fact, it made me angry. I don't personally enjoy all of the Halloweentown movies, but I do like the first two, but it was just unneccessary. Did anyone else miss these movies this year?

T~O !!

Completely. I really only like the first two Halloweentown movies as well, however I am glad they are at least playing those. For a few years I watched DLUTB every Halloween. I thought I had a little ritual going. Then one year they stopped showing it. Last year they didn't play those movies either, not to my knowledge. They sure had plenty of opportunities. The Little Vampire is not a DCOM, I think they play that on abcfamily mostly. Speaking of that, neither station aired Hocus Pocus this year. I believe some channel showed it once that month, but I didn't see it.

Even during the holidays DC airs the same shows and movies over and over. (Ratatouille)

Edit...
Oh and read my Hallo-dcoms post below. They actually did air it, but at an odd hour.

apparently parents complained that it was too scary

Now that you say that I recall hearing that before. But it's ridiculous. What's scary is the crap they try to put off as entertainment and talent these days. Disney has lost its edge.

Rest in Peace Keith "Guru" Elam (1966-2010)...you will be missed.
