ok so it wasnt a masterpiece but it set out what it intended to do. it gave us a few laughs and enetertained us and all it got was a score in the 4s?? it at least deserved a 6 IMO

Don't kill me for this but I think it definitely deserves an 8. It's funny, silly and you can have a good night in with some friends and have a laugh. Of course it's not a masterpiece but just because the acting in a movie isn't great and it's silly doesn't mean it's bad. I do respect what your saying but this seems to be the reason why lots of people hate it. Big Momma 2 isn't as good :).

it deserves a 6.6 but I guess most of IMDb dont know how just to sit down and have fun rather than being picky about everything that makes a film fun.

actually its the only comedy thats ever been able to get a laugh out of me..i think it deserves a 7.

Omg I so agree. I'm not usually one for films like this but it did make me laugh a bit.

I agree, this deserves higher.

You need to remember that IMDB is full of people who use films to make them feel superior to other people. SO they will always go for the indie stuff and automatically trash just simple fun films like these just so they can look down on people that do like these movies and feel better about themselves.

I totally agree...this is a very funny movie...
deserves a 8 for humor and a 6 for story so this movie deserves a 7 not a 4.6.

Yeah, I was very shocked at a 4.8. I agree that it deserves at least a 6 too. Very fun movie for the whole family.

I among the many agree that the current rating is definitely undeserved - I gave it a 7, I think it should be at least 6.

Despair is not a guest - you don't play its favorite music or find it a comfortable chair.

4.6 is wayy harsh. I gave this a 7. This funny is very funny imo. This was one of Martin Lawrence best comedy performances and was the best of the series.

^^Agreed, this was the funniest one. The others were okay but I preferred this one the most. Paul Giamatti & Cedric The Entertainer were really funny too! Also, check your PM, iffy!

This was on TV the other-day. It was the most painful experience of my life. I thought 4.6 was generous.
