my thoughts on TIAL

I stumbled across this series last year during my summer holidays. I must admit I fell in love with it from the first episode and was addicted. Alas, in Australia they only showed the second series, which I was disappointed with. I thought that Paul Popowich was brilliantly cast as Mr Smith - he honestly made me believe him *sigh*.

Yes, 'Twice" was a special series...what a shame it had to end so abruptly (and prematurely.) I concur with Paul Popowich as being "brilliantly cast"...however, I also thought Gordie Brown was excellent too.

How did Paul Popowich's character get introduce into the series? In the opening credits we see him looking rather dead, and Othniel covering his eyes in a very mystical way...is this when Smith is chosen to help people with their second chance?

That's right quizzer, when he was killed he was chosen to serve. He had no idea who he had been from that point on.
What a good series this was!
Gordie Brown's charecter was much more the mystery man, the sophisticate who seemed to know what he was doing, while Paul Popowich's charecter stumbled along with innocence and charm. I think it was his vulnerability that endeared him to us. Oh but great credit to the storylines and guest stars. I wish they had made so many more! I have my favorites, but all of them are really too miss.

I remember this series was very heartwarming, funny and cool and had really good music. I really want to see it again.
