What Network was this on?

Okay, so I know that Citytv and Space show Relic Hunter in Canada, and SkyOne in the UK... but what network showed the series in the US? I can't find it anywhere...

First I lost Buffy, now I've Lost Veronica... why do all the women I love end up leaving?

I'm pretty sure it was what was called "first run syndication." It means they make a show specifically to sell to local stations to run in their empty spots. Many gameshows are first-run syndication. Tabloid shows are too.

You may've heard of just plain "syndication" before; that's a little different. It means the seasons are done running on their original network and are then sold to station. Seinfeld, Friends, and lots of other sit-coms are syndicated. First-run means they've never aired before, and didn't have a network home. Many independent stations use syndicated (first run and regular) programming. Also, local network affiliates that don't have any local programming, network programming, or infomercials to air.

One way to tell if it's first-run syndication is if you see it on FOX one night, and then see it on CBS two days later in the afternoon. That's how I often saw this show.

ah, I get yeh. Yeah, I actually love learning about tv networks, programs, studios, etc.. lol. that "boring" stuff fascinates me. LOL Anyway, so this is basically like Star Trek:TNG and DS9... they weren't on any specific network, just in first run syndication. Thanks for the info though. I didn't know some of it
