Relic Hunter was a decent show

I agree with PunishU's comments in a previous discussion. Relic Hunter was much 'better than LOST or your average reality show.' Its production values were good and the scripts were consistently believable to quite good--especially in its first two seasons.

The producers did their best to make the show work--and even in the third season when Relic Hunter was no longer on US TV and some of the quality of the episodes was not as high as the first two seasons, quite a few good or excellent episodes were made such as Wages Of Sydney, Sydney at Ten, The Light Of Truth, Vampire's Kiss, All Choked Up, Antianeirai, Arthur's Cross and Fountain Of Youth. 8 out of 22 episodes is not bad.

Of course, a few season 3 bombs were also produced such as Women Want To Know, Under The Ice or Pandora's Box which show that the producers were running out of ideas. They are either too awful to watch as in WWTK, too boring as in UTI or just dumb with Pandora's Box and should be avoided if possible.

Most of the remaining season 3 shows were in the middle--not great but not bad either. Devil Doll was interesting.

Feel free to watch season 3 of Relic Hunter. Its still good TV with good scripts and production values for at least 60-65% of the episodes. The producers didn't abandon Relic Hunter's third season unlike what NBC did to the third season of the original Star Trek TV series in its third and final season.

ME-TV should pick this show out of the dust-bin, it would be a definite improvement over some of the other old drek they are airing.
