not a real sequle

this is not the true sequle to resident evil2 Code veronica is more of a sequle to resident evil 2 than resident evil 3. see resident evil3 takes place before and during resident evil2. Resident evil 3 should be a side story code veronica is the real sequle. well thats my opinion

The creator also said he believed Code Veronica was more of a sequel, he just decided to go with it.

"Teh" is simple "teh" best typo ever.

So is it also the G-virus in RE3??

It was never the G-virus to begin with. The only G-virus substance in Raccoon City is Birkin's mutation and the vial that everyone's going on a mad chase for. All the undead in Raccoon City were due to a T-virus outbreak.

OK wait, isn't Marvin lying dead in the police station office when Jill comes through? that would seem to indicate for me that it takes place later, since we see him alive in RE2...maybe the designers just didn't think that one through or something...any thoughts?

Yup might I add you can also see the truck that seperated Leon and Claire at the beginning of the game in Resident Evil 3 on the trolley train thing.

reply

It took place after , thats why the whole city gets nuked if it took place before then how would leon and claire be there ? who's buying that before and after BS the makers didnt put that much into it they made the plot as a sequel and afterwards people got there own theories but it is after RE2 probally a couple of days after.

Jill was badly wounded by Nemesis had no strength to stay awake so she fell asleep on September 29th at 12:00 am then the night of the 29th into 30th
Leon,Claire and Sherry all meet each other and escape the city at sunrise on
30th. Then the story jumps back to Jill and Carlos(on October 1st)and escape the city becase The US Government orders the destruction of Raccoon City and a
nuclear missile is launched at the city at Sunrise on October 2st.

^ I Can agree with that, Now makes more sense. Wish they would re-release these games for 360 and PS3. I would go ape *beep* But it will never happen.

Thanks, it does make some sense.

Yup, and if you make it to the police station in RE2 without shooting a single enemy a zombified Brad Vickers (who was killed by Nemesis in RE3) will be in the underpass before you get to the police station.

If you kill him you get a key for a locker contaiing alternate costumes.

So did some enterprising builder stop by the RPD after Jill's visit and repair the stairwell and window that the Nemesis crashed through? After all, when Claire and Leon arrive, the whole area is shiny new and undamaged. Let's face it, the designers goofed.

Yes, I shall certainly choose revolutionary France for my holiday again next year.

Each game seems to have it's own series, trilogy or quadrilogy.

To answer your almost seven year question. It's because Marv isn't dead when Jill enters the room, He's unconscious. An when Leon arrives he wakes up and is on the verge of turning into a zombie. The events of Nemesis take place days or maybe hours prior to RE2 but there's no doubt Nemesis is a prequel to RE2. Code Veronica is more the 3rd Resident Evil.
