Rosenrot....

hey, it's been a while since the release of 'Rosenrot', but quite a bunch of ppl out there should have an opinion by now. so here's my question: Why is this latest album so crappy? honestly, personally i can't fully sympathize with any of those 11 songs. i can understand that expectations were high after the huge success of 'reise, reise', but this is no decent answer in my opinion.

i thought the exact same thing when i first listened to it, but then it came clear that this album isn't as good as the others, but just listen to it a couple of times, and you'll like some of the songs, Benzin, Zerstoren, Rosenrot,...

reply

Personally, I thought it was better than Reise, Reise, but that's just me I guess...

Something happened in between Mutter and Reise, Reise, and I don't ever think we'll get the same Rammstein back. I just wish those Krazy Kr@uts would come to America so I can rock out to there amazing live show again. Come back, please!

Richard had to give up a lot of control with the sound of the band, that was what happened..

I like those as well, and only those

Personally, I like Rosenrot about the best I think it's second to Sehnsucht. I don't know why everyone doesn't like it all that much. I mean out of all the cd's I'd have to say Herlzeid *sp?* was the worst the songs just weren't that greatly constructed and you could tell they were just slamming on the instruments just showing how metal they were. It wasn't until Sehnsucht that they really came into their own. But that is just me don't get on here saying how retarded I am

"Do you know how far this has gone? Just how damaged have I become?"

reply

ur not retarded. benzin, zerstoren, rosenrot, and mann gagen mann are the best. i like spring, its ok. but most of the songs r slow. te querro puta is alright. my fav album is herzeleid, then reise reise. have u noticed how till has become a better singer. he used to scring (scream and sing) now he is a good singer. their songs are also not as weird, like buck dich and spiel mit mir and leitseit.

They are improving musically. Music is a progression, if a band doesn't change they become stagnent, and repedative. Fans are supposed to grow through them with the music. I think they've gotten better, deeper, arrangements more intricate, sophistecated. They have changed, you may not enjoy the trip, or think it's worth it, I do, I find it interesting.

Remember...Rosenrot is mainly tracks that were rejected from Reise Reise. So if you didn't like Reise Reise, Rosenrot isn't going to be any better.

Another explanation for not getting the old band back.

Sorry guys, but they're getting older. Most of the band are over 40, and Till (who is 44) isn't really in the state any more to spray the audience with semen.

reply

The only track that hasn't grown on me is the Spannish track.
It just doesn't seem right.
The rest are just Rammstein developing into a show, as opposed to just a rock group.

reply

As the band develops the music alters.

I honestly think the album was great.
mackrekerdude I don't agree "Spring" is one of the best tracks.
adnyuk Yes, I agree that it is the weak part.

I think the Spanish track is fun...when I hear it...it makes me smile. I would like to see them do it live.
