Adding to this, in the SNES version, I don't think you had the run option, you know while walking you press, (I think it was circle) and your character would run as opposed to walk. Not having the run option can make the game tedious.

They have it for the GBA now, but I heard that the GBA version is easier.

If you can no longer play these games on an SNES, they I would definently get them for the playstation. But if your SNES works fine and you have both of these games, then I would stick with that version.

Agreed.

For Chroincles, the loading times are a drag, and the battle music/hitting sounds are kind of strange. Not impressed with it. The only good thing to it is "Chrono Trigger" which I never got to play on the SNES. That's the only reason I bought Chronicles.

...the Playstation version tends to lose the charm of the SNES one. I prefer the SNES one, but the one on "Chronicles" is decent if you're as big a fan of the game as I am. It's a must-have if you're obsessed with this game. And since this happens to be my favorite game of all time (just above A Link to the Past), it was a must-have for me.

Aside from the loading times, there are new features that you should see that aren't in the SNES version. It has some drawbacks, but it also has some payoffs as well. Plus, it's pairing along with "Chrono Trigger" is definitely worth the price of the game.

Nice, those are also my top two (in the same order as well) games ever.

I love those two games to death. The music in both is simply mesmorizing.

Also, I sent you a PM..

If you have both an SNES and a Playstation, then I'd suggest going out of your way to get the cartridges for the SNES version.

I'd definitely recommend the SNES version as the loading delay for battles in the PSX version get annoying REAL fast.
