The Restoration....

I just watched the film Carnival Magic on dvd.
My impression is that they somehow seem to have bleached the print,
as most of the colours in the restored version do not look as
healthy and organic as in the original print obtained in 2010.
Check out the sun tans of the various actors.
This movie was filmed in July 1980,when all of the actors would have gotten a lot of sun while filming it.
One of the thoughts that came to mind watching this film was..Goodbye 1970's.
The colours and vibrancy in the un-restored print is how I remember the time.
