Starring the Washington Redskins!!!
I count six Washington Redskins players in this film. Roy Jefferson, Mike Thomas, Mike Bass, Dennis Johnson, Larry Jones and Frank Grant. Anyone know the story behing this unique casting?
shareAccording to one of the other posters in a previous thread, it was filmed in the Maryland, DC and Virginia area. My guess is that having Redskins in the film might have helped the box-office draw.
After watching for a few minutes I saw a sign in the background of an exterior shot that revealed that the scene was shot in Poolesville, Maryland (and verified the town hall exterior shots are indeed that of Poolesville), which is halfway between DC and Carlisle, PA, home of Redskins' Training Camp.
