The rose blooming *SPOILERS*

Near the end of the series, when Virgina goes to her dead mother and speaks to her about her childhood memory, she brings the black rose that Wendell gave her from Snow White. She puts it at her mother's hand. After she says the memory, the rose blooms.

Virgina sortof sighs and cries.

What do you think that meant? I don't feel I quite got it...maybe something about, Virginia's remembering her mother's love, made the rose bloom - healing past wounds? Healing ugliness between them?

I took it that the mother sent a sign that she did love her daughter after all.
