I watched and rec both shows when they were on in 96 and 98. Nerds 2.0.1 starts where Triumph of the Nerds ends, just when the net started getting popular and the browser was new. Does anyone remember the Netscape browser?
shareThe original was about the rise/growth of the personal computer. The sequel is the rise/growth of the internet. Its completely fascinating watching these tales almost a decade later. The first had Steve Jobs talking about Apple Computers before he came back to Apple. This is before the Dot Com bubble bursts. Its interesting to see who is still standing and who has been surpassed.
